10:51 a.m. A deputy was called to the initial block of Central Avenue in Dolores to respond to a report of a theft from a vehicle from Joe Rowell Park. Several people reported thefts from their vehicles during a softball tournament. Thefts were reported from a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, a 2019 Chevy Silverado, a 2006, Subaru Forester and a 2006 Toyota Tundra. No suspects were identified.
Tuesday, Aug. 13
6:19 p.m. A deputy was called to the 400 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores regarding a traffic crash. A driver in a white truck backed up into the front passenger side door of another vehicle. A man was issued a summons for unsafe backing
Wednesday, Aug. 14
12:11 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 21600 block of County Road 36 regarding a disturbance in progress. A woman showed damage to a building, two holes in a wall and a broken window, caused by a man. The man had also taken some frozen Hot Pockets from the refrigerator. The man was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.
3:13 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts to issue an arrest warrant to a woman for failure to appear. The woman was left in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center.
9 p.m. A deputy was called to the 17600 block of County Road 27 near Mancos about a domestic disturbance. A woman described being held at gunpoint by her husband and being forced to drive into the mountains. The woman had several abrasions on her face. The husband returned during the interview, but fled the scene before deputies could interview him. The man was later located in his vehicle on the County Road 27, but he fled from deputies on foot, eluding arrest. Arrest warrants were issued for the man for second-degree kidnapping, assault in the second-degree, menacing, false imprisonment and domestic violence.
Thursday, Aug, 15
9:41 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to issue three active warrants to a male inmate.
12:54 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. to remand a man into custody. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
3:52 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. to remand a man into custody. The man was left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
11:54 p.m. A deputy dispatched to True West Auto, 27292 U.S. Highway 160 by call from a woman who claimed to have just broken “a bunch of windows.” Deputies arrived to find a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 shards of glass were around the truck and a mirror and window were broken. The truck also had body damage that appeared to be cause by a metal mailbox post. A sales manager estimated the damage at $5,000. The woman was arrested on suspicion of a felony criminal mischief.

4:46 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 5300 block of County Road 25 near Cortez to serve a man with two active arrest warrants. The man was arrested and left in custody of Montezuma County Detention Center.
