4:21 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 24000 block of County Road G.2, to take a report about a stolen ATV.

Monday, March 2

5:32 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 9500 block of County Road 29.1 for a disturbance in progress.

Thursday, March 5

12:55 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 24000 block of Road G.2 to serve an active warrant to a man.

1:36 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail Bonding window, 730 E. Driscoll St., to take a man into custody after he had turned himself in on an active arrest warrant.

Friday, March 6

11:29 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a male inmate.

3:27 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, to transport a remanded man to Montezuma County Jail after being cleared by ER staff.

8:26 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 24000 block of County Road F.5 for a welfare check on an adult man. Cortez Dispatch informed the deputy that the man had an active arrest warrant. The man was taken into custody and transported to Montezuma County Detention Center, where he was served with the warrant.

Saturday, March 7

12:16 p.m. A deputy responded to Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a report of theft from the 9500 block of County Road 29.1.

Monday, March 9

1:53 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Couty Road R to respond to a report of trespassing on private property.

9:46 a.m. A deputy took a man into custody on an active arrest warrant in the area of U.S. Highway 491 and Highway 184 and transported the man to the Montezuma County Detention Facility.

10:44 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a confirmed warrant for a male inmate.

12:58 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Facility, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve two arrest warrants to a man in custody.

2:08 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Detention Facility, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve two arrest warrants to a man in custody.

5:33 p.m. Two deputies were dispatched to the 12600 block of County Road 17 for a report of domestic violence. No arrests were made.

Tuesday, March 10

3:31 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant service for a male inmate.

Wednesday, March 11

9:43 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., for a warrant service. The man was taken into custody and transported to Montezuma County Detention.

Thursday, March 12

1:47 a.m. A deputy observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the Builders FirstSource, 12028 Colorado Highway 145, and contacted the male driver. Dispatch confirmed the driver had an active warrant. The driver was then taken into custody and transported to Montezuma County Detention Center.

9:11 a.m. Two deputies were dispatched to the block of 1000 Railroad Avenue in Dolores for a report of fraud.

9:38 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to the 11000 block of Road 39.2 for a report of stolen mail.

3:16 p.m. A deputy patrolling in the 2000 block of Main Avenue issued a citation to a man for driving a vehicle while his license was suspended.

4:51 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant service for a male inmate.

Saturday, March 14

10:34 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to a traffic accident in the 12900 block of Road 32. A man backed into a parked gooseneck trailer, damaging the vehicle.

1:43 p.m. Two deputies were dispatched to the Ute Mountain Cafe, 17 S. Broadway, for a disturbance. The reporting party stated he was being chased by a man with a shovel in the field behind the cafe.

4:13 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to the intersection on County Road F.4 and Road 24.2 for a report of a single ATV rollover with injuries. Cortez Fire and EMTs were on scene and transported the driver to Southwest Memorial Hospital.

Monday, March 16

5:59 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the 21000 block of Road C.7 on a report of domestic violence. A man was taken into custody and transported to Montezuma County Detention Center. Paramedics and a victim’s advocate assisted the victim, who was later transported to the hospital.

Tuesday, March 17

12:36 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve an active warrant to a female inmate.

9:54 p.m. A deputy on patrol initiated a traffic stop and dispatch confirmed there was an active warrant for the male driver. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montezuma County Jail.
