Wednesday, April 14

1:47 p.m. Theft of water was reported in the 14200 block of County Road 22. The report was unfounded.

Saturday, April 24

10:52 a.m. A welder, cutting torch and an oxygen tank were reported stolen in the 2500 block of Highway 491.

Tuesday, April 27

2:08 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant for failure to appear at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:34 p.m. Fraud was reported in the 25500 block of County Road N.6 Loop. The fraud originated with an antivirus popup on a computer.

6:39 p.m. A female inmate was served three warrants and a summons at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9 p.m. Shots fired was reported in the 6800 block of County Road 24.3. There was not enough eveidence to support the claim.

9:02 a.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, May 1

3:39 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of second degree assault, domestic violence, criminal mischief and obstruction of a telephone in the 19500 block of County Road 14. He allegedly broke a woman’s cell phone, chocked her, knocked her to the ground and prevented her from leaving the residence.

3:14 p.m. A male and a female driver traveling in separate cars were cited on suspicion of speeding in the 10900 block of County Road 29.

Sunday, May 2

7:54 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in the 14200 block of County Road 22. The incident was determined to be verbal and no charges were filed.

Monday, May 3

3:01 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of careless driving in the 1 block of Central Avenue. She crashed into a signed and rolled her vehicle.

Tuesday, May 4

11:10 a.m. A man was remanded into custody at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
