2:30 p.m. A deputy assisted Colorado State Police with roadside maneuvers for a female suspect in the 24000 block of County Road E.5.

Monday, Feb. 1

5:37 p.m. A crash between an ATV and sedan occurred in the 24500 block of County Road V.4. There were no injuries.

Friday, Feb. 5

2:43 p.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 23100 block of County Road G.

Saturday, Feb. 6

6:44 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 26800 block of County Road G.6. A man and woman were scammed out of a large amount of money by someone claiming to be an Amazon representative.

Sunday, Feb. 7

5:23 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence and false imprisonment and a man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and harassment in the 23000 block of County Road 128. A verbal argument became physical and both parties were determined to be combatants.

Tuesday, Feb. 9

11:55 a.m. Animal abuse was reported in the 32800 block of County Road M. The accusations were determined to be unfounded.

Wednesday, Feb. 10

9:22 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct in the 100 block of South Ninth Street. He allegedly destroyed a political sign.

12:56 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of violating a protection order, resisting arrest and domestic violence in the 10200 block of U.S. Highway 491. When deputies attempted to serve a summons to the man he fled the scene and was uncooperative during arrest. He was also found in the presence of a woman who had two protection orders against him.

3:10 p.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 19600 block of County Road T.

Friday, Feb. 12

11:10 a.m. Harassment was reported in the 1700 block of East Seventh Street. The report was determined to be unfounded.

10:21 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of driving while under restraint and failure to provide proof of insurance in the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

Monday, Feb. 15

4:33 p.m. A vehicle window was shot out in the 21500 block of County Road N.

Tuesday, Feb. 16

8:33 p.m. A man was cited for driving without a valid license in the 25000 block of County Road L.

Wednesday, Feb. 17

1 p.m. Threats were reported in the 6500 block of County Road 24.5. Two horse skulls were left on a man’s property.

Thursday, Feb. 18

1:43 p.m. A male inmate was cited on suspicion of second-degree assault on a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer and obstructing government operations at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. The inmate struck an officer and resisted being returned to his cell.

10:31 p.m. A male inmate was served five warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, Feb. 20

8:25 a.m. A warrant was issued for a man on suspicion of two counts of harassment and domestic violence in the 25300 block of County Road G.

Monday, Feb. 22

1:38 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief in the 22400 block of County Road G. Two men were engaged in a verbal argument and one man broke a truck window with a pipe.

Tuesday, Feb. 23

1:41 p.m. Unemployment fraud was reported in the 6500 block of County Road 38.

The Journal
