Wednesday, Oct. 31

11:10 a.m.: A woman called to complain that her son had roughed her up, on the 10200 block of County Road 28.2. A deputy cited the son for harassment.

2:11 p.m.: The driver of a brown Chevy Blazer was cited for reckless driving and criminal mischief for doing doughnuts in the parking lot at Joel Rowell Park, at 94 Central Ave. in Dolores. A town of Dolores employee estimated the damage at $700.

2:11 p.m.: A woman with a U-Haul truck at the Greer Recreation area on the 25000 block of Road L was arrested on a warrant and for driving on a suspended license.

3:29 p.m.: A man at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was issued a mittimus and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:05 p.m.: An inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, at 601 N. Mildred Road, was bonded out by a friend and then returned to jail and reportedly consumed meth. A black bag containing meth was found in his clothing.

Thursday, Nov. 1

1:40 a.m.: A female inmate at Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., threw a toilet paper roll at a detention deputy. She was charged with assault.

10:20 a.m.: A woman arrested on Oct. 31 on a warrant and for driving a U-Haul on a suspended license was cited again for driving a U-Haul on a suspended license. The sheriff’s sergeant who made the Oct. 31 arrest saw the same women in the same U-Haul truck parked at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, at 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:35 p.m.: A man at the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

8:06 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant on the 25000 block of County Road G.

11:12 p.m.: A woman was arrested on two warrants on the 36000 block of County Road K.3.

Friday, Nov. 2

2:03 a.m.: A man driving a white truck was arrested for weaving and DUI alcohol on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 491. He said he came from a pool competition Angel’s End Zone, 309 N. Broadway.

2:06 a.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant at his home on the 13000 block of County Road 35.9. The man was allowed to change his clothing, grab his cell phone, wallet, $200 in cash, and text his attorney before the arrest.

Saturday, Nov. 3

12:51 a.m.: A man driving a white truck was arrested for DUI alcohol, driving on a suspended license and weaving on the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 160.

2:07 p.m.: A woman was arrested for harassment and domestic assault at a residence on the 12000 block of County Road 29 for throwing a piece of wood at her husband while he cut wood with a chain saw.

3:56 p.m.: A woman called to report that two black and red Rubbermaid totes had fallen out of her truck somewhere between the Verizon store, 1423 E. Main St., and County Road 26.

6:12 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched to a home on the 5000 block of County Road 21 for an aggressive animal. A pit bull had reportedly nipped the hind legs of a horse and goat and caused serious injuries to a goat. The goat had dog bites on its head, face and body. The deputy informed the family they had the right to shoot the dog if it returned. The dog was not located, and neighbors said they had never seen the dog.

Sunday, Nov. 4

10:33 p.m.: A man at the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

Monday, Nov. 5

9:17 a.m.: A deputy responded to a home at the 6000 block of County Road 24 to serve a warrant. A woman answered the door and said the man was not there. She allowed the deputy to enter the home and search for the man. The deputy searched the bedroom and found the man hiding behind a panel.

9:44 a.m.: A man at the Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

3:27 p.m.: A woman was arrested for third-degree assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence. The woman, who had been drinking, allegedly pushed her boyfriend into an electric heater, struck him with a lamp and threw a candle at him.

Tuesday, Nov. 6

10:37 a.m.: A 77-year-old woman purchased an item on Facebook and then received a call from the Wells Fargo fraud department. The bank informed her there was a charge of $5,442.66 to Apple on her credit card. The woman told a deputy she was not familiar with computers and ordering products online, so the deputy showed her how to use the computer to safely purchase products.

10:24 a.m.: A deputy seized license plates from a white Chevy pickup at a residence in the 400 block of N. Market St. because the man’s check bounced at the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office.

Wednesday, Nov. 7

10:34 a.m.: A deputy seized license plates from a silver Chrysler at a residence in the 200 block of E. Seventh St. because the woman’s check bounced at the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office.

2:32 p.m.: A man was arrested on two warrants at a residence in the 28300 block of County Road K.2.

2:28 p.m.: A deputy seized license plates from a silver Nissan at a residence in the 200 block of N. 10th St. because the man’s check bounced at the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office.

2:31 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma COunty COmbined COurts, 865 N. Park St.
