Monday, June 5

12:31 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of theft in the 25000 block of Colorado Highway 145. A man claimed his former landlord had stolen his swords. The man was being forced to move out due to a restraining order, and he said that when he picked up his belongings, multiple swords were missing. But he could not provide proof of ownership for the swords. The case remains under investigation.

1:15 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:04 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of a restraining order violation at the Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, 7303 E. Driscoll St. A woman claimed a man against whom she had a restraining order had posted a picture to a Facebook group they both administrated that referenced an argument they had and seemed designed to insult her. The responding deputy forwarded the case to the District Attorney’s office for charging.

Tuesday, June 6

10:46 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue, Dolores, on suspicion of DUI and failing to drive in the designated lane after he was pulled over for driving westbound in the eastbound lane of the road. A bag containing 12.1 grams of marijuana was found in his possession.

Wednesday, June 7

9:26 a.m.: Deputies responded to a report of vandalism in the 8000 block of County Road 41. A man claimed someone had knocked his mailbox off its stand. The case remains under investigation.

11:10 a.m.: Two men were served with warrants for failure to comply at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:14 p.m.: A man turned himself in at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was arrested on two warrants for failure to comply on felony charges.

10:15 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 700 block of Railroad Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thursday, June 8

12:08 p.m.: A man was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

2:31 p.m.: A woman was served with a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

5:47 p.m.: A woman was served with a warrant out of La Plata County for motor vehicle theft at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
