3:40 p.m. Deputies served an eviction notice at a residence on the 400 block of North Main Street in Mancos.
Wednesday, Sept. 30
10:33 a.m. A woman reported the front fender and rear bumper of her vehicle was damaged while parked in a locked driveway on the 11000 block of County Road 27.
7:39 p.m. A dog running at large in the Uptown Plaza Trailer Park reportedly bit a man. The dog was quarantined at the Cortez Animal Shelter.
Friday, Oct. 2
12:18 a.m. A motorist was stopped for speeding, 75 in a 60 mph zone, along the 39000 block of U.S. 160. The driver, 19, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving with expired tags and speeding.
3:40 a.m. Deputies responded to a gunshot wound at Southwest Memorial Hospital. A man reported that his big toe was shot near an abandoned house on County Road 30.
1:24 p.m. An employee at the Methodist Thrift Store reported that a customer threatened to rob the Outer Limits Antique store.
5:34 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to McPhee Marina to assist a boater in distress. Two men reported their boat was taking on water. Search crews found the men north of the marina along the shore. Valued at $5,000, the boat was also retrieved.
11:13 p.m. A motorist was stopped in Dolores for weaving and failure to use a turn signal along the 18000 block of Hwy. 145. The driver was arrested on unnamed charges.
Saturday, Oct. 3
8:03 a.m. Deputies responded to a cold assault at Southwest Memorial Hospital. A woman reported that she was thrown and then punched while pinned down by both a male and female suspect. The woman suffered a fractured rib, but she refused to press charges.
9:12 a.m. A woman was arrested on six outstanding warrants at a residence in the Escalante Trailer Park in Dolores while deputies investigated a physical altercation that occurred earlier in the week.
5 p.m. A woman reported that her barn was flooded on the 18000 block of County Road 23.5 due to her neighbor watering his property. The case was referred to agriculture investigators.
Sunday, Oct. 4
1:25 p.m. A resident on the 6000 block of County Road 24.2 complained that a neighbor’s kids continuously rode an all-terrain vehicle, scaring his horses. The man reportedly suffered more than $500,000 in veterinarian bills. Both neighbor’s issued trespass notices against the other.
4:35 p.m. A deputy found an Oklahoma license plate in the trash at the Conoco on North Broadway.
9:10 p.m. A motorist was ticketed for driving with a suspended license after being stopped for driving without any taillights on the 500 block of Railroad Avenue in Dolores.
Tuesday, Oct. 6
5:54 p.m. Deputies euthanized a deer that was struck by an automobile on the 15000 block of County Road 30.
9:36 p.m. A motorist was stopped for speeding, 49 in a 40 mph zone, on the 24000 block of County Road G. The driver was arrested on two outstanding warrants.
Wednesday, Oct. 7
7:10 a.m. A woman reportedly stole a St. Jude’s Children Hospital jar containing about $25 from the Giant Convenient Store in Dolores. The woman was ticketed for theft and issued a trespass notice.
6:12 p.m. A motorist was stopped for an expired temporary tag on 4th Street in Dolores. The driver was ticketed for driving with a suspended license and expired tag.
6:47 p.m. A motorist was stopped for speeding, 78 in a 65 mph zone, along the 1000 block of U.S. 160. The driver was issued a verbal warning for speeding and ticketed for lack of insurance.
8:55 p.m. A motorist was stopped for a broken tail light on 3rd Street in Dolores. The driver was ticketed for lack of insurance, defective stop lamp and expired tag.
9:32 p.m. A Pennsylvania woman reported that her 30-year-old son was missing. He was reportedly traveling to New Mexico for a “spiritual quest.” Records show he was ticketed for marijuana possession at Mesa Verde National Park on Sept. 23.
Thursday, Oct. 8
9:15 p.m. A motorist was stopped for speeding, 47 in a 40 mph zone, along the 20000 block of County Road G. The driver was ticketed for lack of insurance and given a verbal warning for speeding.
9:41 p.m. A one-armed man yelling at traffic on Railroad Avenue in Dolores was arrested and charged with obstructing a highway after repeated orders to leave the scene.
