We should all be livid now that the Supreme Court has shown how partisan its justices really are. They got their seats because elections matter.
Republicans have cheated and manipulated their way to the power they currently have. And in such, they seem hell bent on acquiring more through any means, preferably legal but that that seems not important to the ends they seek.
Chief Justice John Roberts has made a mockery of the court by allowing it to consider cases that have clear political implications or look out for corporate interests. The general welfare of the people seems not a consideration.
And let us be honest with ourselves. Neil Gorsuch should not be on the court. Mitch McConnell stole that seat.
Brett Kavanaugh lied his way to the court after the resignation of Justice Anthony Kennedy under suspicious circumstances.
Amy Coney-Barrett’s seat was filled in a fashion McConnell refused to consider when the appointment was Barack Obama’s.
Samuel Alito has recently misled us, and the media has revealed that he is a justice on the take.
And Clarence Thomas just needs to resign!
The Republicans have made a mockery of our Constitution, and the appearance of an illegitimate court is the result. Time for Congress to act!
Turnout for the election must make clear that the American people are over corruption and influence that has become exceedingly evident. It is creeping fascism that needs resistance with all that we can muster.
Voting is our last and strongest voice of opposition.
