Schools are gearing up for the start of the 2024-25 school year
Schools in the Montezuma-Cortez RE-1 school district announced open house and registration dates in anticipation of the start of the upcoming school year on Monday, Aug. 12.
The Montezuma-Cortez High School will host registration on Thursday, July 25 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday, July 29 through Thursday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The high school’s open house will be held on Monday, Aug. 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- The Montezuma-Cortez Middle School’s registration will take place Monday, July 29 through Thursday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The open house will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 5:30 p.m.
- Mesa Elementary will hold its registration period on Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25 from noon to 8 p.m. Mesa’s open house will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Lewis-Arriola Elementary School’s registration will be held on Monday, July 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with an open house to follow on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Kemper Elementary’s first day of registration will be held on Tuesday, July 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and its final registration days are set to take place from Monday, July 29 through Thursday, Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Beech Street Preschool will host its registration period on Thursday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The school will hold an open house on Aug. 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
