Robert Jefferson, Ignacio 11-JT school board member, and Chris Kloster, Mancos Re-6, school board member, were recipients of the Colorado Association of School Boards McGuffey Award. Jefferson and Kloster accepted their awards Sept. 4 at CASB’s fall regional meeting in Cortez.
School board members are nominated for the McGuffey Award by their fellow board members and are honored for their committed and passionate service to public education.
