Santa Claus was spotted in Dolores over the weekend. His reindeer were too busy setting up all the Christmas routes for this year, so the Dolores Volunteer Fire & Rescue department saved the day by giving him a ride in their fire truck. During the Dolores holiday event Dec. 14 at the Galloping Goose museum the weather was wet and snowy, but there was a line out the door for families waiting to see Santa. Afterwards families took a short ride on the Galloping Goose No. 5 which was decked out with sparkling lights. The Dolores Star is now up on the giant spruce tree next to town hall, and the town is shining bright this year with wreaths, hillside light displays and businesses showing their holiday cheer. Come take a look at all the holiday lights in Dolores.
