Users will still have access to county lot nearby
The vastly improved parking lot at Sand Canyon will temporarily close March 23 to allow for final construction. Nearby trail parking to the east on County Road G will remain open.
The newly designed main Sand Canyon Trail parking lot will temporarily close beginning March 23 to allow for final construction. In the meantime, trail users should use the Montezuma County parking area to the east.
