Rocky Mountain Chocolate reports Q2 earnings

But stock price dips 6% as market closes

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Inc. (RMCF) on Friday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $918,000.

The Durango-based company said it had net income of 15 cents per share.

The confectionery producer and retailer posted revenue of $7.4 million in the period.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate shares have risen 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $9.40, a drop of almost 6% in the last 12 months.
