River Talk Black Lillies make a stop in Dolores

This Saturday, the Black Lillies will be making a stop at the Dolores River Brewery as they tour the U.S. with their current release, "Runaway Freeway Blues."

Originally from Knoxville, Tenn., the band has done very well for themselves, landing many awards and appearing multiple times at the Grand Ole Opry and a number of hit music charts.

Last year Rolling Stone Magazine selected them as one of the top emerging country music bands. Vanity Fair also spoke kindly of them; "With one foot planted firmly in Appalachian music culture and the other always expanding and evolving, the Black Lillies have created a unique sound embraced by fans old and young."

Stop by and see them live at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.

The clothing part of the store currently has many cute summer outfits and jewelry to choose from.

The Dolores Food Market now has the fourth edition of the Mountain Bike Map book in stock.

The book features updated maps of more than 40 trails around Cortez, Dolores, Mancos, and Rico, which is more than 500 miles of rides.

If you'd like a group to ride with, the Southwest Colorado Cycling Association would love to have you. They meet multiple times a week and even have a women's ride on Wednesday's.
