Thank you from race director
As director of Ride of the Ancients Gravel Grinder, I want to give a wholehearted thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers who gave to this year’s event. It was because of their generosity that the event’s first year was an overwhelming success.
On June 26, 128 cyclists lined up to ride their choice of a 30- or 95-mile route. Children’s activities, food trucks, a craft fair and beautiful weather all contributed to a fun event for the entire family.
I am thankful to say that the event will be held again next year on June 25. Please mark the calendars, because next year will be even better!
