Kudos to the county commissioners for making a difficult decision to close this camp. It is a public health hazard, an eyesore and dangerous for the entire county population. The sooner the better.
There’s no solution to the homeless population and government will not be able to solve it. I drove by there last weekend, trash everywhere, at least 50 Walmart shopping carts, abandoned looking cars at the roadside.
