Purgatory Resort will host the Ska/Zia Town Series Purg Enduro races from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Aug. 21.
During the two nights of gravity racing, Purgatory will extend Lift 1 operations from 4 to 7 p.m. for these special events. Check-in will run from 4 to 5:45 p.m. at the Purgatory Ticket Office, with racing to follow. Participants may register online at www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=179353.
Purgatory’s Bike Park is also continuing to open trails as conditions allow and to develop lift-access biking for recreational mountain bike enthusiasts, including the addition of two new expert trails, Links and Pirate. Purgatory is also in the process of building its first lift-served downhill trail for beginners, Shangrila, which is estimated to be completed this fall.
