Wednesday, Dec. 7

1:56 p.m.: A man was cited for shoplifting a $138 pair of Ray Ban sunglasses from Underwood Optical, 22 S. Beech St.

8:34 p.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of harassment after she confronted her boyfriend in the Wal-Mart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., about whether he’d had a romantic encounter with his former girlfriend.

Thursday, Dec. 8

2:08 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 300 block of S. Broadway for DUI, DUI per se and driving the wrong way on S. Beech St.

10:22 a.m.: An employee at Medicine Man, 310 E. Main St. reported that someone had stolen her phone, which she’d left on the counter. Other employees gave the officer photos of the female suspect.

10:46 p.m.: A woman was cited in the 200 block of W. First St. for driving while her ability was impaired and failing to display license plates.

Friday, Dec. 9

1:33 a.m.: A man was arrested for DUI and filing to obey a stop sign in the 100 block of E. First St.

2 p.m.: A woman reported that she believed that her tire had been slashed in The Kiva Preschool’s parking lot, 1204 E. Empire St.

5:10 p.m.: A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, following a vehicle too closely, and child abuse after she was pulled over at Parque de Vida, 500 N. Mildred Road. A child was among the passengers.

4:26 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of fraud and deceit for obtaining the narcotics hydrocodone and fentanyl with a forged prescription at Safeway, 1580 E. Main St.

9:22 p.m.: A man was pulled over in the 300 block of W. Main St. and cited about failing to provide auto insurance and warned about driving with a missing license plate tag and obstructed vision. A female passenger was arrested on suspicion possessing meth and drug paraphernalia. The driver and two other passengers were released.

Saturday, Dec. 10

3:06 a.m.: A woman was cited for DUI, DUI per se and driving without illuminated headlights after leaving a bar in the 300 block of N. Broadway.

2:55 a.m.: A man was arrested for DUI, DUI per se, disregarding a stop sign and failing to drive on the right side of the road after he was pulled over in the 800 block of S. Chestnut St.

5:22 p.m.: A woman reported that her unlocked $500 bicycle had been stolen from outside her residence in the 800 block of S. Chestnut St.

Sunday, Dec. 11

11:17 a.m.: A man reported that his “Olaf” ornament has been stolen from his yard in the 400 block of S. Market St. He valued the ornament at $30.

2:21 p.m.: A man reported that his Hi-Point C-9 handgun has been stolen from his unlocked pickup truck, parked at his residence in the 400 block of W. Second St.

Monday, Dec. 12

3:09 a.m.: A woman was arrested for disturbing the peace after a loud argument at a residence in the 400 block of S. Ash St. Another woman in the neighborhood was arrested on three warrants.

9:13 a.m.: An employee at Community Connections, in the 300 block of S. Pine, reported that someone had spray-painted slurs on its bus. The Seventh Adventist Church also reported that someone had painted graffiti on its southern wall.

5:07 p.m.: A man was arrested on a warrant after he was pulled over in the 900 block of E. Driscoll St. for driving with expired license plates.

5:40 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant after she was pulled over in the 10 block of N. Henry St. While at the jail, the officer arrested a man on a warrant.

Tuesday, Dec. 13

6:59 a.m.: A woman reported that a pack of cigarettes, Social Security card, driver’s license, insurance card and $140 in cash was stolen from her unlocked car, parked at her residence in the 1000 block of E. Carpenter St.

6:59 a.m.: A woman reported that two holiday spotlights valued at $50 each had been stolen from her lawn, in the 1100 block of N. Edith St.

3:48 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred St.

11:30 p.m.: A man was cited for DUI and driving 39 mph in a 25 mph zone after he was pulled over in the 1300 block of E. Main St.
