11:15 a.m. A woman was cited at a property east of City Market, 508 E. Main St., where she is banned. The group she was with was asked to leave.
1:14 p.m. A man was cited with possessing an open container of alcohol near the entrance of City Market, 508 E. Main St.
1:55 p.m. Two men cited with possessing open alcohol containers and alcohol at Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave.
4:14 p.m. A man was served five warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
1:58 a.m. A woman suspected in a disturbance at 118 N. Sligo St. was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center on suspicion of violating three protection orders banning possession and consumption of alcohol. She was medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital after giving a breath sample of BRAC 0.279 at the jail.
3:06 p.m. A man was cited with shoplifting at City Market, 508 E. Main St., where he has been banned.
11:08 p.m. A man was banned for six months from the Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, where he was allegedly walking on the premises and yelling. He was arrested on a warrant, cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center.
3:08 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, criminal mischief less than $300, third-degree assault, harassment and domestic violence after allegedly breaking her ex-boyfriend’s window at his home in Oak Meadows Trailer Park, 405 W. Seventh St., and assaulting him. She was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center, where she gave a breath sample of BRAC .179.
1:49 p.m. A woman was cited with trespassing at Speedway, 921 E. Main St., where she is banned. The man with her was given a trespass notice and banned from the location.
2:28 p.m. An officer responded to McDonald’s, 1322 E. Main St., for reports of a man hitting a woman with his vehicle as he left the parking lot. The woman had been riding an electric scooter. The woman was arrested on a warrant.
3:02 p.m. A man was cited with violating bond conditions that state he cannot possess or consume alcohol or an open container near The Pie Maker, 17 N. Harrison St. After being medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital, he was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center. He gave a breath sample of BRAC .235.
12:18 p.m. Three men were cited near 900 S. Chestnut St. after a traffic stop. Man 1 was cited with failing to provide proof of insurance, driving with a revoked license, possessing drug paraphernalia and failing to signal 100 feet before the turn. Man 2 and Man 3 were cited with possessing drug paraphernalia – suspected meth and fentanyl, syringes, burned tinfoil, a torch and tooter straws.
2:56 p.m. A woman was cited with trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., where she is banned.
5:30 p.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant, a man was cited with possessing alcohol and littering, and two other men were cited with trespassing at the Cortez Rec Center, 425 N. Roger Smith Ave., where they are banned. Police were dispatched to the recreation center for a reported fight. The woman was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center after being cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
6:01 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace at Tomahawk Motel, 728 S. Broadway. He allegedly had kicked the door of another room and threatened the neighbors, saying he had a firearm. A firearm was not found. He was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center after being medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
10:56 a.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center.
11:16 a.m. A woman was cited with trespassing at Speedway, 921 E. Main St. where she is banned. She was given a ride to The Bridge Emergency Shelter.
2:21 p.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
12:29 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at Days Inn, 2604 E. Main St. after allegedly punching his roommate in the face. He was asked to leave, but he returned and allegedly spit on his roommate’s face and the desk clerk. He was taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center where he gave a breath sample of BRAC 0.279 after being medically cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital.
1:24 a.m. A man and woman were cited with trespassing at the Tomahawk Motel, 728 South Broadway, where they are banned.
10:19 a.m. A man was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
5:58 p.m. A man was cited with trespassing at Walgreens, 1671 E. Main St., where he is banned, after a person at First Southwest Bank, 1510 E. Main St., reported that he had caused previous property damage at the bank.
6:51 p.m. A man suffered facial injuries during a fight at City Market, 508 E. Main St., after another man allegedly broke his phone. A vehicle also was damaged during the fight, and one woman and three men were arrested. The woman and two of the men required medical clearance before being jailed at the Montezuma County Detention Center. The woman was cited with disorderly conduct and violating a protection order. One man was cited with third-degree assault and criminal mischief, and the other two men were cited with third-degree assault.
