6:08 p.m. An officer took a report for domestic violence at 1612 Taylor St.

10:43 p.m. An officer conducting a routine traffic stop for speeding arrested a man on a warrant at Ziggi’s Coffee Shop, 1204 E. Main St.

Friday, July 26

12:15 a.m. An officer arrested a man who was reportedly “tweaking” and pushing a wheelbarrow filled with concrete work supplies and a generator valued at $3,700 in the 700 block of W. Seventh St.

1:35 p.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of menacing and harassment at 315 S. Ash St.

1:53 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant and cited him with driving an off-highway vehicle when license restraint express consent at the corner of Mildred Road and Carpenter Street in the 800 block of N. Mildred Road.

6:24 p.m. A deputy served two warrants to a woman who was transferred into the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, July 27

11:20 a.m. An officer cited a woman with careless driving and failing to give information after damaging a vehicle while pulling her travel trailer in the parking lot at Taco Bell, 1300 E. Main St.

3:35 p.m. An officer arrested a man on a warrant at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., when responding to a call about the welfare of a puppy in the back of a pickup truck bed in the parking lot.

5:14 p.m. An officer took a report for a restraining order violation in the 1400 block of Acoma Street.

Sunday, July 28

2:07 a.m. A man who was stopped for failing to dim the lights of his vehicle was arrested in the 200 block of S. Madison St. on suspicion of DUI, using multiple beam lights, failing to provide proof of insurance, DWAI and driving a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

2 a.m. An officer took a report for a stolen vehicle from a man at the Tomahawk Hotel, 728 S. Broadway.

7:14 a.m. An officer took a report for an attempted break-in at 215 S. Harrison St.

8:16 a.m. An officer took a report for property damage at the Prairie Mesa Estates, 650 E. Second St.

12:58 p.m. An officer cited a woman with careless driving at Safeway, 1580 E. Main St.

8:34 p.m. An officer took a report for a disturbance involving a man throwing a bicycle at cars and yelling a people while walking in the middle of the street in the 400 block of S. Madison St.

6:13 p.m. An officer cited a man with trespassing at The Pie Maker, 17 N. Harrison St.

6:43 p.m. An officer took a report for the theft of three gates from a property in the 500 block of S. Chestnut St.

3:12 a.m. An officer arrested a man on two warrants at the Skate Park, 1200 E. Montezuma Ave.

8:03 a.m. An officer took a report for three batteries that were missing from a Weeminuche Construction Authority truck that was parked at Mesa School, 703 W. Seventh St.

10:43 p.m. An officer arrested a woman on a warrant outside of the Cork-N-Bottle Liquors, 443 E. Main St.

11:51 a.m. An officer cited a man with cruelty to animals at the Super 8 Motel, 505 E. Main St.

12:04 p.m. An officer arrested a man on two warrants and cited him with open container at City Market, 508 E. Main St.

7:36 p.m. An officer arrested a man on suspicion of criminal mischief after he reportedly broke a glass door at Ocean Pearl, 300 E. Main St.
