Thursday, Sept. 21

12:20 a.m. A woman in the lower 100 block of North Beech Street was arrested on a warrant.

11:41 a.m. A man backing up in the Montezuma County Clerk’s Office parking lot, 140 W. Main St., hit a parked vehicle and left. The man was cited with failure to report an accident.

1:33 p.m. An officer served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:23 p.m. A man in the 800 block of South Broadway was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, violating a protection order, aggravated habitual traffic offender and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Sept. 22

2:08 a.m. A woman in the 300 block of East Fourth Street was arrested on a warrant.

4:40 p.m. A man in the 1800 block of East Main Street was arrested on four warrants and on suspicion of obstruction, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

7:31 p.m. A woman in the lower East Montezuma Avenue was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of assaulting an officer, obstruction and resisting arrest.

8:38 p.m. A man in the 400 block of South Cedar Street was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence.

9:05 p.m. A woman in the 500 block of South Madison Street was arrested on a warrant.

10:02 p.m. A man driving a truck in the 200 block of Pinon Drive hit the Enterprise Rent a Car building and drove off. He was arrested near the intersection of Road L and U.S. Highway 491 on suspicion of DUI, driving without insurance, reckless driving and failing to report a crash.

10:40 p.m. A man at the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of violating bond conditions.

10:55 p.m. A man at Prairie Mesa Estates, 650 E. Second St., was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.

Sunday, Sept. 24

2:32 a.m. A man driving an SUV in the 200 block of East Seventh Street was pulled over for driving 25 mph faster than the speed limit. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failing to provide insurance, driving without a license, careless driving and underage drinking.

4:25 p.m. A woman in the lower 100 block of East Third Street noticed her guitar and gaming personal computer were missing from her shed.

Monday, Sept. 25

6:17 a.m. A man throwing rocks at a residence in the 300 block of South Beech Street was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

8:11 a.m. A man at Speedway, 921 E. Main St., was cited with trespassing.

9:33 a.m. Gray spray paint graffiti was found at three locations Dennis Morita State Farm, Burger Boy and Veterans Park.

8:25 a.m. The maintenance director of Cortez High School, 418 S. Sligo St., found that two wooden sheds had been broken into and that an industrial fan had been taken.

3:59 p.m. Two men entered Hibbett Sports, 215 S. Sligo St., took three pairs of shoes and left without paying.

4:28 p.m. A bicycle in the 300 block of South Maple Street was found on the side of the road and turned over to an officer.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

7:52 a.m. A woman turned herself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

6:10 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
