3:41 p.m. A woman using $50 bill she had received as change from an order from Burger King, 520 W. Main St., tried to purchase gas and noticed the bill was a counterfeit bill.

7:54 p.m. A man driving a jeep without plates was pulled over at the Cortez Recreation Center, 425 Roger Smith Ave., and was arrested on suspicion of obstruction, resisting arrest, driving with suspended license and driving without insurance.
11:41 p.m. A man at the Tomahawk Motel, 728 S. Broadway, was arrested on a warrant.
7:42 a.m. Two jerrycans and a leaf blower were reported stolen off BIA firetruck at Holiday Inn, 2121 E. Main St.
9 a.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant.
10:05 a.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and possession of alcohol in a park.
10:08 a.m. A man in the City Market parking lot, 508 E. Main St., was arrested on three warrants.
11:23 a.m. A woman at Kemper Elementary, 620 E. Montezuma Ave., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and resisting arrest.
12:25 p.m. A man returning from New Mexico noticed a rifle was missing from his truck in the 200 block of South Madison Street.
5:46 p.m. A woman at Speedway, 2021 E. Main St., was cited with trespassing.
8:37 p.m. A woman at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was cited with shoplifting.
9:16 p.m. A man at Oak Meadows Trailer Park, 405 W. Seventh St., was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.
7:04 a.m. A sign at Burger Boy, 400 E. Main St., was vandalized.
10:59 a.m. A man in the 200 block of Harrison Street was arrested on five warrants. During the arrest, he kicked and damaged the door of a patrol vehicle. He was cited with obstruction and criminal mischief.
8:09 p.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
10:01 p.m. A man at National 9 Inn, 301 W. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.
10:13 p.m. A man driving in the 9000 block of Road 27 was pulled over for turning into the wrong lane when he made a right hand turn onto Road J. The man was cited with DUI and making a turn into the incorrect lane.
10:24 a.m. Three vehicles at Sikis Village, 321 S. Broadway, were broken into. Keys, an RV battery and two wallets were missing.
3:39 p.m. A man returned to his home in the 1400 block of North Mildred Road and found his refrigerator was gone. Later, it was discovered a maintenance man had mistakenly taken the fridge.
5:51 p.m. A man was brought in by a bondwoman to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant.
8:26 p.m. A man driving in the 1700 block of East Main Street was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of driving without insurance, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to obey a traffic signal.
10:52 a.m. A man swapped his shoes for new ones at Big R, 1319 E. Main St., and left without paying.
7:03 p.m. A man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of possessing an open container and possessing alcohol in a park.
10:42 p.m. A shopping cart at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., was found with pill in a box and a wallet with multiple identification cards and debit cards.
2 a.m. A man noticed the rear window of his van, parked in the Citizens State Bank, 77 W. Main St., had been smashed with a rock.
