Thursday, June 29

10:44 a.m. A man riding a bike through the Happy Valley Trailer Park, 203 E. Seventh St., was arrested on a warrant.

12:33 p.m. An officer served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:05 p.m. A man in line for a food truck in the Big R parking lot, 1319 E. Main St., was arrested on two warrants. He also was cited with felony possession of a firearm and concealing a weapon, the 9mm handgun found on his person during the arrest.

3:41 p.m. An officer collected a bicycle left at the BMX bike park, 515 Erin St.

5:29 p.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was cited with trespassing twice, at 5:29 p.m. and 6:27 p.m. About 8:35 p.m., she was arrested in the park on suspicion of trespassing.

7:08 p.m. A man and woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., were arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order and underage drinking.

11:46 p.m. A woman in the 1200 block of North Mildred Road was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order.

Friday, June 30

11:28 a.m. A woman in the 700 block of East Second Street was cited with possessing drug paraphernalia and using illegal narcotics.

2:54 p.m. A woman at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of possessing alcohol at a park.

8:25 p.m. A man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on three warrants and on suspicion of possessing alcohol at a park and violating a protection order.

9:43 p.m. A man and woman allegedly took about $150 worth of clothing from Dollar General, 324 S. Broadway, and ran across the road.

Saturday, July 1

1:31 p.m. A woman driving in the 500 block of South Silgo St. was seen swerving. The woman was arrested in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., on suspicion of driving without a license, DUI and possessing an open container.

Sunday, July 2

12:14 a.m. A woman trying to enter trailers at Ol’ West Trailer Park, 641 S. Broadway, was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

1:47 p.m. A man at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, was arrested on a warrant.

3:09 p.m. A woman at Best Western, 535 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.

10:51 p.m. A man in the lower 100 block of East Main Street was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

Monday, July 3

12:23 a.m. A man in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., noticed his wallet was missing from his motor home and believed it to have been stolen.

12:01 p.m. A man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St. was arrested on suspicion of theft and criminal trespassing. The man had taken a backpack from the First Baptist Church, 100 North Market St., belonging to a deacon of the church. The backpack was returned, but it was missing $514 and a bag of quarters.

3:25 p.m. A woman noticed the window to her room at the Tomahawk Motel, 728 S. Broadway, had been opened and that $250, a cellphone and two bottle of prescription pills were missing.

3:52 p.m. A man in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., allegedly punched a female driver in the face and walked away after he accused her of nearly running into him.

4:02 p.m. Two women physically fighting at Veterans Park, 830 E. Montezuma Ave., were arrested on warrants. One woman was cited with disturbing the peace and trespassing; the other, with possessing an open container, disturbing the peace and possessing alcohol in a park.

Tuesday, July 4

10:54 a.m. A woman reported a 9 mm handgun was stolen from her husband’s vehicle while they were inside at Fiesta Mexicana, 430 N. State St., on Friday, June 30 around 10 p.m. The woman delayed in reporting the firearm missing as she and her husband were not sure not sure if they had forgotten the firearm at home.

1 p.m. A woman in the 200 block of East Main Street tried to fight many people and entered the roadway to shout at cars. She was arrested on suspicion of being in a roadway while intoxicated and disturbing the peace.

10:03 p.m. A man in the 700 block of Birch Drive was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order. The man appeared intoxicated and had tried to block a family from enter their vehicle, claiming it was his. The family was able to push the man away and drive off.

9:50 p.m. A man urinating while clothed and sitting in a lawn chair at Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Ave., was seen by an officer and cited with indecent exposure.

10:07 p.m. A man returned to his parked vehicle in the 800 block of East Montezuma Avenue and found it had been damaged by another vehicle. The red paint on the side of his vehicle was similar to a red truck that had been parked in front of his vehicle earlier.

Wednesday, July 5

8:54 a.m. A man in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St., was arrested on a warrant.

12:04 p.m. A man noticed his truck in the lower 100 block of West Montezuma Avenue was missing some things. The man belies his truck was broken into and the items stolen.

2:27 p.m. A man at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting, possessing an open container, possession of alcohol in a park and trespassing. The man had taken alcohol from City Market, 508 E. Main St., and walked over to the park to drink.

7:33 p.m. A woman turned herself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant.
