6:43 a.m., A man was barred from the Cortez Rec Center, 425 N Roger Smith Ave., and arrested on a warrant.

6:18 p.m., Two men in the 200 block of South Washington Street were arrested. One was arrested on a warrant, and the other was arrested on suspicion of violating a protection order that restricts him from possessing or consuming alcohol.

7:11 p.m., An officer served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Friday, March 17

8:44 a.m., An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

9:16 a.m., An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:25 a.m., A man stole a Bluetooth speaker from Walmart, 1835 E Main St., valued at $169.

11:36 a.m., An officer served three warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

1:37 p.m., A woman whose dog got loose in the 400 block of North State Street was cited with not having a city license and letting her dog run at large.

Saturday, March 18

10:24 a.m., A man in the 300 block of Pine Street was arrested on a warrant.

11:37 p.m., A man in the 500 block of South Madison Street was arrested on three warrants and was cited with violating a protection order that restricts him from possessing or consuming alcohol and controlled substances.

Sunday, March 19

7:50 a.m., Matching black graffiti was found on the Front Row Seat and National Inn buildings, 610 E. Main St. and 301 W. Main St.

6:02 p.m., A woman who punched another woman in the face at the Bridge Shelter, 735 N. Park St., was issued a trespass order and summons on suspicion of third-degree assault.

Monday, March 20

10:06 a.m., A man reported his wallet was missing. The man believes he was a victim of a pickpocket in the lower 100 block of West Main Street.

6:53 p.m., A man who allegedly tried to take several hats from Hibbett Sports, 215 S. SIlgo St., was cited with trespass and shoplifting. The hats were valued at $113.98.

Tuesday, March 21

7:01 a.m., A woman who was sleeping in a car on a property in the 800 block of East Third Street was cited with trespassing.

1:32 p.m., A man in the 200 block of East Main Street was arrested on four warrants. The man was given a verbal warning for smoking cannabis in a public space.

4:55 p.m., A bike was stolen from out in front of City Market, 508 E. Main St.

8:38 p.m., A total of 21 windows on West Main Street and Broadway were broken by BB gun shots. The total estimated damages is $33,000.

Wednesday, March 22

12:20 a.m., A man in the 500 block of East Main Street was arrested on suspicion of underage consumption of alcohol

7:41 a.m., A signpost was ran over and left in the intersection of Linden Street and Main Street.

11:57 a.m., A woman driving in the 700 block of South Broadway rear ended a vehicle and was issued summons on suspicion of reckless driving. The woman stated she was diabetic, and EMTs confirmed her blood sugar was below normal levels at the time of the crash.

12:15 p.m., A man in the 900 block of Mildred Road who had been given multiple reminders to update his dogs rabies vaccines was cited with not possessing a city license required.

2:11 p.m., A man lent his car to a woman who was supposed to drop it off at the Super 8 Motel, 505 E. Main St. The woman did not drop the car off and the man could not contact her. The car was marked stolen and a warrant is being sought for the woman.
