Wednesday, Jan. 6

10:38 a.m. A man was ticketed for alcohol possession and open container at City Park.

Thursday Jan. 7

11:03 a.m. A woman was ticketed for dogs running at large after police responded to the 600 block of North Mildred Road. Two dogs were impounded.

3:30 p.m. A man was ticketed for open container after police observed him drinking outside of the Cortez Public Library.

8:41 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after police observed him walking by City Market. The man was also charged with drug paraphernalia for possessing two syringes and a spoon.

11:47 p.m. A woman was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace after police responded to a fight in progress at Once Upon a Sandwich. Another woman, who suffered a bloody nose, was also ticketed for disturbing the peace. The fight reportedly ensued after a woman mistakenly called the other woman’s boyfriend by the wrong name.

Friday, Jan. 8

9:04 a.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Compliance Drug and Alcohol Testing.

2:48 p.m. A man was arrested on four outstanding warrants at The Dollar Tree.

4:49 p.m. A man was arrested and charged with violating a protection order after police responded to a disturbance at Southwest Memorial Hospital. The man said he started drinking after being diagnosed with cancer.

Saturday, Jan. 9

7:19 p.m. A man was arrested on three outstanding warrants after an officer stopped to search for a homeless woman at the duck pond in Centennial Park. No additional information was provided about the missing woman.

Monday, Jan. 11

2:55 p.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence on the 500 block of West 6th Street.

4:44 p.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at a residence on the 400 block of West 5th Street.

6:32 p.m. A woman was arrested and charged with harassment and domestic violence after police responded to a fight in progress at Sleeping Ute Apartments. The woman told police that the fight ensued after her fiancé complained about her drinking.

Tuesday, Jan. 12

11:11 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after police observed him driving near the intersection of North Harrison Street and Montezuma Avenue.

4:15 p.m. A man was arrested and charged with intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway after falling near the intersection of Adams Street and Montezuma Avenue.

7:20 p.m. A woman reported that her boyfriend repeatedly punched her in the face breaking her nose after police responded to a cold assault at Happy Valley Trailer Park. The woman was transported to the emergency room treatment.

Wednesday, Jan. 13

10:31 p.m. A man reported that a video game console, controller and multiple games valued at $460 were stolen from a residence on the 1300 block of Acoma Street.

Thursday, Jan. 14

11:02 a.m. A woman was arrested for driving with a revoked license and running a stop sign at the intersection of North Linden and Main streets.

3:51 p.m. A barefoot woman was arrested for violating bond conditions after allegedly attempting to steal socks, a beanie and pair of gloves valued at $12 from Walgreens. An officer requested that theft and violating a protection order charges also be filed.

Friday, Jan. 15

12:10 a.m. A woman was provided a ride home after her vehicle got stuck in the snow on the 200 block of South Madison Street.
