12:28 a.m. A man reported that someone crashed into his truck and left in the Handy Mart parking lot, 806 S. Broadway. An officer was attempting to obtain surveillance footage of the incident.
1:18 p.m. A man was arrested and cited for drunken driving after he was pulled over in the 800 block of Brookside Drive.
5:35 p.m. Surveillance showed a man shoplifting a television and light bar worth approximately $306 at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. The suspect was unknown.
6:36 p.m. An intoxicated woman was arrested and cited near Cortez Public Library, 870 E. Montezuma Ave., for violating a protection order banning her from drinking.
1:53 a.m. A woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Cortez Police Department, 608 N. Park St.
10:03 a.m. A man was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
10:30 a.m. An intoxicated woman was arrested and cited for violating a protection order, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest after someone called a welfare check on her in the lower 100 block of South Madison Street.
1:08 p.m. A woman was cited for unsafe backing after she backed her car into her neighbors in the 400 block of East Arbecam Avenue.
3:06 p.m. A man was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
3:37 p.m. A man was cited for shoplifting and was trespassed from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., after he attempted to steal a headlamp.
4:43 p.m. A woman was cited for failing to yield to the right of way after she crashed into a vehicle at the intersection of Fifth Street and Broadway.
8:12 p.m. A man was arrested for trespassing at Conoco, 302 W. Main St.
2:10 a.m. A man was cited for trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
2:09 p.m. An intoxicated woman was arrested at Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., for violating a protection order banning her from drinking.
3:36 p.m. A man was cited for drug paraphernalia after someone reported that he locked himself in the women’s restroom at Montezuma Park, 15 W. Montezuma Ave.
4:16 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Montezuma Park, 15 W. Montezuma Ave.
8:09 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
9 p.m. A woman reported that a man tried to trap her in the women’s bathroom at Parque de Vida, 400 N. Mildred Road. There were no leads or suspects.
12:30 p.m. A bike in the back of a man’s truck hit and damaged a sign at McDonald’s, 1322 E. Main St. The owner of the restaurant reported the incident for insurance purposes, and no summons were issued.
10:12 p.m. An officer took possession of an abandoned bike in the 100 block of North Linden Street.
11:06 p.m. A woman was cited for careless driving and leaving the scene of a crash after she crashed a U-Haul truck into Burger King, 520 W. Main St., and left.
12:52 p.m. A woman reported at the Cortez Police Department, 608 N. Park St., that a man who was pretending to be an FBI agent used her credit card information to steal $200 from her. An officer attempted to contact the man.
1:21 p.m. A Parks and Recreation maintenance worker reported that someone spray-painted graffiti in the skate park and amphitheater areas, 1200 E. Montezuma Ave. There were no leads.
3:08 p.m. A woman was arrested and cited for trespassing at Speedway, 2021 E. Main St.
10:04 a.m. A woman reported that her neighbor’s dog bit her dog in the 100 block of West Empire Street. An officer attempted to contact the neighbor.
12:03 p.m. The owner of Forget Me Not Antiques, 720 E. Main St., reported that someone damaged the store’s window. There were no leads.
2:23 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
4:55 a.m. A woman reported that her car was stolen in the lower 100 block of South Elm Street. There were no leads.
6:15 a.m. A man was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
9:51 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at Dolores State Bank, 744 E. Main St.
9:51 p.m. A man was cited for driving without license, insurance or registration after he was pulled over for expired plates in the 200 block of East Main Street.
