Thursday, March 3

12:13 p.m. A man reported that someone hit his truck and ran in the Walmart parking lot, 1835 E. Main St. Surveillance footage seemed to suggest that his truck was not hit.

5:32 p.m. An officer recovered an abandoned bag from the Bridge Shelter, 735 N. Park St. He attempted to contact the owner.

8:44 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant after an officer observed him climbing a fence into a backyard in the 700 block of South Broadway.

Friday, March 4

10:09 p.m. An intoxicated, underage man was arrested after he spit on an officer twice in the 1400 block of North Mildred Road. He was issued summons for underage drinking and third-degree assault on an officer.

Saturday, March 5

12:47 p.m. An employee reported that a man exposed his genitals to her in the Taco Bell drive-thru, 1300 E. Main St. An officer contacted the man and issued him a trespass from Taco Bell and a summons for indecent exposure.

Sunday, March 6

10:58 a.m. An officer recovered an abandoned bike at Plaza Laundry, 1419 E. Main St.

Monday, March 7

12:25 p.m. A man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.

Tuesday, March 8

1:21 p.m. An officer recovered an abandoned bike in the 400 block of South Beech Street.

3:16 p.m. A woman reported that her car was hit while she was backing out of a parking spot in the 500 block of South Madison Street. No citations were issued.

Wednesday, March 9

9:46 a.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the lower 100 block of North Beech Street.

12:47 p.m. A man reported that his truck was stolen at the Maxwell Automotive, 322 N. Broadway. There were no leads or suspects.

1:38 p.m. Two men were trespassed from Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., after a loss prevention specialist caught them trying to steal.

2 p.m. An intoxicated woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after she swerved over a median and hit several cars in the 400 block of North Broadway. The woman was cited for violating a protection order that banned her from drinking.

3:26 p.m. A man reported at the Cortez Police Department, 608 N. Park St., that he was receiving fraudulent unpaid rent bills. A detective took over the case.

7 p.m. A woman was cited for trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.

10:37 p.m. A man was arrested after he reportedly violated a restraining order that banned him from contacting a woman in the 500 block of East Fourth St.
