3:06 p.m. A man’s money was reportedly moved from his PayPal account and into a crypto wallet after scammers hacked his computer in the lower 100 block of East Carpenter Street. An officer helped the man disconnect the hackers and get his money back. There were no leads.
8:04 a.m. An officer sought a warrant for a man who reportedly attacked his neighbor from behind in the 200 block of South Market Street.
10:51 a.m. A woman was taken into custody for violating a protection order that banned her from drinking and violating a trespass order that banned her from City Market, 508 E. Main St.
2:28 p.m. A man and a woman reportedly stole a case of beer from the City Market, 508 E. Main St. The man, previously trespassed from the store, was cited for trespassing and theft. The woman, also trespassed from the store, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, violating bail bond conditions, violating a protection order against drinking alcohol, criminal trespass and theft.
5:20 p.m. A man was cited for driving an unsafe/defective vehicle after his brakes reportedly failed, causing a rear-end crash in the 1800 block of East Main Street.
6:15 p.m. A deer and vehicle collided in the 1500 block of East Seventh Street.
6:35 p.m. A man was cited for theft after he attempted to steal a TV from the Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. He was indefinitely trespassed from the store.
7:10 p.m. A woman was arrested on a warrant in the 1800 block of East Main Street.
3:42 p.m. A man was cited for shoplifting after he reportedly tried to steal a case of beer from the City Market, 508 E. Main St.
4:35 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
9 a.m. A warrant was sought for a woman who reportedly called and threatened employees at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. The woman had multiple protection orders banning her from coming in contact with Walmart.
2:33 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant after a security officer reported that he was about to drink and drive at the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 Mildred Road. He was cited for violating an order against consuming or possessing alcohol.
7:04 p.m. A man reported that his vehicle was vandalized in the 300 block of South Market Street. The man suspected his son’s girlfriend, but there was not sufficient evidence for charges.
5:49 a.m. A man reported a vehicle fire in the 900 block of Memorial Drive. He accused his neighbor, but officers did not find sufficient evidence for charges.
11:43 a.m. A man was arrested on a warrant at the Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road.
12:45 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after he was reported as an unwanted person at Hope’s Kitchen, 515 N. Park St. He was indefinitely trespassed from the soup kitchen.
3:03 p.m. An elderly man reported missing prescription pills in the 400 block of South Madison Street. Eight home health aides could have been at the house at the time of theft. The director of clinical services was drug-testing the aides.
4:31 p.m. An officer could not find fault in a car crash in the 100 block of West Main Street.
6:11 p.m. A man reported that his fence was vandalized in the 600 block of South Ash Street. There were no leads.
3:45 a.m. A man reported that his car was damaged in the 300 block of North Henry Street. There were no leads.
5:01 a.m. An intoxicated man was arrested for violating a protection order banning him from drinking after he reportedly damaged property at the American Holiday Mesa Verde Inn, 640 S. Broadway. He was trespassed from the hotel.
11:11 a.m. Two men were trespassed from the Big R, 1319 E. Main St., for reportedly being rude to employees. One man was arrested on a warrant.
4:55 p.m. A man was arrested on warrants at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St.
10:41 p.m. A man was cited for being intoxicated in a roadway after he ran out in front of an officer’s car and lay in the street in the 2500 block of East Main Street.
11:36 p.m. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the lower 100 block of South Ash Street.
2:52 p.m. A woman was arrested on warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
5:52 p.m. A man was arrested after being intoxicated in the roadway outside of the City Market, 508 E. Main St. The man was previously trespassed from the store and was cited for trespassing.
