1:24 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of shoplifting and was trespassed from the property in the 400 block of East Main Street.

2:31 p.m. A man backed his vehicle into another vehicle on private property in the 400 block of North State Street.

3:17 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of careless driving, driving without a valid license, failure to report an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 2100 block of South Broadway. He allegedly crashed into a fence and left the scene.

4:32 p.m. A man was arrested on four active warrants in the 1300 block of Easy Main Street.

5:26 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of theft in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

6:45 p.m. A female inmate was served three warrants at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, April 22

10:11 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 800 block of North Park Street.

1:06 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 300 block of South Broadway. No citations were issued.

2:29 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 2500 block of East Main Street. The run vehicle was a tan or white car.

4:14 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation after kicking in a door in the 600 block of East Main Street.

6:16 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 1700 block of Kaleigh Circle North.

Friday, April 23

10 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and open container in the 500 block of West Main Street.

1:46 p.m. A man was arrested on two active warrants in the 100 block of North Harrison Street.

6:10 p.m. A male inmate was served a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, April 24

12:53 a.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and resisting arrest in the 200 block of East Seventh Street. She allegedly kicked in a door and struck a man.

11:34 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant after allegedly harassing someone in the 100 block of South Sligo Street.

12:29 p.m. An altercation during a child’s birthday party was reported in the 700 block of Stratton Drive. No charges were filed.

4:44 p.m. A man was arrested on three active warrants in the 300 block of West Main Street.

7:59 p.m. A man was observed painting graffiti on a building in the 500 block of North Dolores Road. He fled the scene.

8:56 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant during a call regarding a missing cell phone in the 800 block of South Chestnut Street.

Sunday, April 25

9:34 a.m. A vehicle was burglarized in the 300 block of North Ash Street.

12:01 p.m. Cow manure was left on the property of a political office in the 40 block of East Main Street.

8:41 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and criminal trespass and was later also cited on suspicion of second-degree assault of a peace officer, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer in the 1800 block of East Main Street. She allegedly punched an officer and attempted to flee.

9:12 p.m. A man was arrested on a warrant unrelated to an altercation over voodoo dolls that was being investigated in the 1800 block of East Main Street. A man and woman involved fled the scene.

10:02 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of protection order violation and resisting arrest in the 100 block of West main Street. He was also served three warrants.

11 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant and cited on suspicion of resisting arrest in the 100 block of South Washington Street. A warrant will be sought for another man on charges of harassment, criminal mischief and domestic violence.

Monday, April 26

8:24 a.m. Windows were damaged, possibly by a BB gun, in the 500 block of North Chestnut Street.

8:55 a.m. Fraud was reported in the 20 block of West Seventh Street. A company posing as customer service instructed a woman to open accounts and send money for bike parts.

11:30 a.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of failing to yield the right of way and causing a crash in the 400 block of North State Street.

6:37 p.m. A motel room was burglarized in the 500 block of East Main Street. A man and woman allegedly gained entrance to the room by deceiving the maid service.

8:11 p.m. A woman was arrested on suspicion of felony menacing and domestic violence in the 400 block of West Third Street. She allegedly had a knife and was behaving aggressively toward a man.

9:24 p.m. A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 500 block of East Main Street.

Tuesday, April 27

1:50 p.m. A vehicle was damaged by rocks kicked up by a lawnmower in the 900 block of East Main Street.

5:20 p.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 100 block of South Washington Street.

8:23 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation in the 400 block of East Main Street. He was lying the in the road while intoxicated and was almost struck by vehicles.

9 p.m. A woman was arrested on two active warrants during an investigation in the 6800 block of County Road 24.3. Officers were assisting the Sheriff’s Office with a call regarding a man with a gun. The male suspect and investigation were turned over to the sheriff’s office.
