Wednesday, Feb. 10

2 a.m. A man was cited on suspicion of third-degree assault, criminal mischief and harassment and was trespassed from the property in the 400 block of South Broadway. He allegedly broke a motel window and threatened to assault the clerk. The clerk was injured by the broken glass.

10:23 a.m. A bike was stolen from a store in the 100 block of West Main Street.

3:53 p.m. A counterfeit bill was turned over to police at a bank in the 500 block of West Main Street.

7:04 p.m. A warrant was sought for a man on suspicion of criminal mischief, domestic violence, harassment, menacing and obstruction of telephone service in the 400 block of North State Street. The man allegedly refused to get out of a woman’s car, made threats, prevented her from calling the police and damaged the vehicle before leaving the scene.

Thursday, Feb. 11

9:08 a.m. A man was arrested on an active warrant in the 2000 block of East Main Street.

12:32 p.m. A man backed his truck into another vehicle in the 700 block of East Driscoll Street.

2:12 p.m. A first-aid kit containing a EpiPen was stolen in the 2800 block of East Main Street.

5:12 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of following too closely in the 700 block of South Broadway. He allegedly rear-ended a vehicle in front of him.

8:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of retaliation against a victim and menacing in the 40 block of West Main Street. He allegedly attempted to break the truck window of a man who was a victim in a previous incident.

Friday, Feb. 12

2:06 p.m. Identity theft was reported in the 1000 block of South Oak Street. Fraudulent accounts were opened in a man’s name.

4:10 p.m. A woman was arrested on an active warrant in the 200 block of East Main Street.

4:19 p.m. A Social Security benefits card was stolen in the 600 block of East Empire Street. The card was used to make purchases.

10:53 p.m. A man was cited on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and a stop sign violation in the 500 block of North Elm Street.

Saturday, Feb. 13

1:12 p.m. A woman attempted to use a counterfeit bill at a store in the 1800 block of East Main Street. She left the scene and could not immediately be contacted.

4:53 p.m. A woman was cited on suspicion of failure to present proof of insurance, DUI and driving with a restrained license and a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was served a warrant in the 2100 block of East Main Street. The woman crashed her vehicle into a building and left the scene. The man had multiple previous DUI charges.

Sunday, Feb. 14

10:33 a.m. A hit-an-run occurred in the 400 block of West Seventh Street.

3:04 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was towed from a parking lot in the 700 block of East Main Street.

4:42 p.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, third-degree assault, criminal mischief, protection order violation, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest in the 500 block of South Madison Street. A witness observed the man punch out a vehicle’s window and strike a woman. He then barricaded himself inside an apartment.
