Tuesday, March 6

8:46 a.m.: Police responded to a report of vandalism at FB Organics, 1 W. Main St. Store employees reported someone had spraypainted a back corner of the building. Officers found similar graffiti on trash cans behind the building, and Ertel’s Funeral Home reported similar graffiti on the business’ garage door on South Market Street. The case remains under investigation.

12:52 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 900 block of East Main Street on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

Wednesday, March 7

2:03 a.m.: A man was cited for underage consumption of alcohol in the 200 block of South Harrison Street after police responded to a report of an intoxicated person bleeding from the mouth. He reportedly couldn’t say how he had been injured. He was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital.

6:21 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Mesa Verde Inn, 640 S. Broadway, on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor after police responded to a report that she had hit her boyfriend. She reportedly had a mark on her face. Police did not press other charges, citing a lack of evidence.

9:31 a.m.: A man was arrested at City Market, 508 E. Main St., for failing to appear on a felony charge.

11:14 a.m.: A woman was served two La Plata County warrants for failure to comply and failure to appear on felony charges at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

12:20 p.m.: A man was served a warrant for a felony weapons offense at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Thursday, March 8

10:13 a.m.: A man was arrested at Dolores State Bank, 200 N. Park St., for failing to appear on a local misdemeanor.

2:34 p.m.: A man was served at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., with a warrant for shoplifting.

Friday, March 9

3:14 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 500 block of East Main Street on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, operating an uninsured vehicle, driving under restraint and weaving after being pulled over for hitting a curb. He reportedly said he’d been drinking at Angel’s End Zone.

9:30 a.m.: Police responded to a report of a man trying to get into homes in the 600 block of Jennings Drive. An off-duty deputy reported a man rang his doorbell, then dropped a bicycle pedal on his porch and left. A woman in the subdivision reported the man had tried to enter her house, but she didn’t want to press charges. Another neighbor reported about $100 of damage to a motorcycle parked in his driveway. Police contacted a man matching the caller’s descriptions, but he appeared disoriented and under the influence of a drug. He was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital for treatment and released.

3:05 p.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to appear on a local felony charge at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

6:25 p.m.: Two men were cited on suspicion of shoplifting at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., after employees reported they had swapped the price tags on several items with the tags from less expensive items, then tried to buy them at the lower price. They also reportedly tried to steal a $39.96 remote-control helicopter.

10:57 p.m.: A woman was cited on suspicion of driving an uninsured vehicle, driving under restraint and displaying expired number plates in the 400 block of West Sixth Street.

Saturday, March 10

12:50 a.m.: A man was arrested at the Bridge Emergency Shelter, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a felony warrant from the state Department of Corrections.

1 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 600 block of South Washington Street on suspicion of felony menacing after a man reported he had waved a large knife at him. The suspect was cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital, due to intoxication, then jailed.

5:07 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of South Park Street on a municipal warrant for failing to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

5:33 p.m.: A man was arrested outside City Market, 508 E. Main St., on three warrants for failing to appear on local misdemeanors. He was cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital due to intoxication.

11:20 p.m.: A man was arrested at Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, on suspicion of violating a protection order and violating bond conditions after a report that he harassed a woman via text messages. The man reportedly told police his father sent the texts. A marijuana pipe and empty marijuana containers were found in the man’s possession, and he reportedly appeared intoxicated. The protection order and bond conditions prohibited him from consuming or possessing alcohol and drugs.

11:41 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 400 block of South Madison Street on suspicion of being intoxicated in the roadway after police responded to a report he was lying in the street. He was cleared at Southwest Memorial Hospital due to intoxication.

Sunday, March 11

7:18 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 400 block of East Third Street on three warrants for failing to appear on local misdemeanors after police responded to a possible disturbance. A woman who was with him reportedly started screaming and grabbing him when police tried to arrest him, and an officer pulled her from the suspect and handcuffed her. She was later released with no charges.

8:22 p.m.: A woman was arrested in the 300 block of South Ash Street on a municipal warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

Monday, March 12

12:32 a.m.: A man was cited on suspicion of trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St.
