Wednesday, March 15

9:05 a.m.: A woman reported the theft of a license plate on a vehicle at Air Options Respiratory, 1740 E. Main St. The case remains under investigation.

10:41 a.m.: A woman was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear.

10:50 a.m.: A man was arrested at Montezuma County Court, 601 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear.

11:12 a.m.: A woman reported someone had slashed two of her tires in the 2000 block of Rolling Road. The tires were valued at about $180 each. The case remains under investigation.

11:15 a.m.: A man was issued a summons at Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., on suspicion of an open container violation and possession of alcohol in the park.

11:59 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 400 block of West Third Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

3:20 p.m.: A manager at the Mesa Verde Inn, 640 S. Broadway, reported a TV, valued at $130, had been stolen from one of the rooms. The case remains under investigation.

8:09 p.m.: A man was arrested at City Market, 508 E. Main St., on suspicion of trespassing after store employees reported he was harassing customers. He was treated at Southwest Memorial Hospital for severe intoxication before being transported to the jail.

Thursday, March 16

1:28 a.m.: A man was issued a summons in the 400 block of East First Street on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, making a right turn from a wrong position and failing to signal as required.

11:45 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to appear at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:19 p.m.: A man was arrested at Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, on a warrant for failure to appear after hospital staff reported he was being disruptive in the emergency room.

3:45 p.m.: A woman reported that her car radio, valued at $80, was stolen from the vehicle in the 200 block of Piñon Drive. The case remains under investigation.

4:33 p.m.: A man was arrested at Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, on suspicion of third-degree assault, harassment, domestic violence and obstruction of telephone service after his girlfriend reported he had grabbed her by the hair, thrown her into the bathtub in their hotel room and taken her cell phone. She also claimed he had stolen about $200 in cash from her.

Friday, March 17

1:35 a.m.: Police found an abandoned Ford Escort in the 300 block of South Chestnut Street with its engine still running and two cell phones on the ground next to the driver side door. The responding officer said the car’s ignition had been tampered with and it appeared to have skidded to a stop in a residential driveway. Efforts to contact the owners of the car and the residence were unsuccessful.

10:32 a.m.: A woman was served with a warrant for failure to appear at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

8:06 p.m.; Two men were arrested in the 800 block of East Main Street after they and three other people were found with an open container of alcohol near a park gazebo. One man was arrested on suspicion of underage consumption of alcohol and resisting arrest, although a portable breath test later showed no alcohol on his breath. The other man was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after the first man accused him of trying to make him drink alcohol.

9:42 p.m.: A man was issued a summons in the 200 block of South Ash Street on suspicion of DUI and underage consumption of alcohol and marijuana.

9:56 p.m.: A juvenile was issued a summons in the 700 block of East Second Street on suspicion of underage consumption of alcohol.

Saturday, March 18

12:22 a.m.: A man was arrested in the 200 block of East Second Street on a warrant for failure to appear and on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving, after he was pulled over for doing doughnuts.
