Poem: Earth Mother

The thing we call Life

Is so precious, and rare.

Let us awaken

Like the spring bear!

Give Thanks to our Great Creator,

Loved ones and Angels who care!

Humble Ourselves while in Nature.

Commune with her beauty,

Drink in the colors of her mantle.

Greens, browns, colors abound!

Reds, blues, purples, yellow

Indigos

In the sky above,

And earth below.

Give thanks to our Earth Mother,

Who provides for us this glorious home

With good air to breathe,

Gorgeous plants, flowers, and leaves.

Plenty of room to roam

A place like no other

Her waters which are “potable”

Both life sustaining substances

Nurturing All. So notable!

We the two legged,

The four legged,

The furred, the finned, the feathered,

The reptilians, the amphibians

All gathering together

In a unified call

To honor, protect, and appreciate

Our Earth Mother

Who hosts us in our pinnings

Gives us our beginnings

This thing called Life,

So precious and rare.

Let’s help by being the Ones who care!
