I wish to extend my extreme gratitude to the Montezuma County Republican Central Committee for their selection of Gerald Koppenhafer to fill the remainder of Joel (Joe) Stevenson’s term as commissioner for the Mancos area of Montezuma County.
In Gerald’s previous time as a commissioner, he showed not only his business sense, but he also showed that he is someone who understands the needs of all who reside and work in Montezuma County. While we mourn the loss of Joe, at least we can be grateful that his replacement will carry on the ideals Joe brought to Montezuma County, not just as a commissioner for the Mancos area, but as a valued member of the whole county.
I look forward to nothing but great management. Congratulations, Gerald, on your selection.
