Cortez Middle School drama students have spent the past nine weeks rehearsing and building the set for their musical production of “The Pirates of Penzance.” On Friday, the play begins at 7 p.m. at 450 W. Second St. Tickets are available at the door and are free for CMS students and staff, M-CHS staff and children under 2. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. On Saturday, performances are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
