Junior Tay Wheat breaks the school’s touchdown record
The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers got out to an early 19-12 lead in the first quarter of their homecoming game Friday, Oct. 6, and led 27-18 at the half.
The Panthers then outscored the Wolverines 24-6 in the second half to win 51-24.
Junior Tay Wheat broke the school record with seven rushing touchdowns, including five from over 25 yards out, to help the Panthers to their third straight win.
