Bakers pulled out all the stops for Thursday’s annual gingerbread house auction to raise funds for Grace’s Kitchen in Cortez. The Mancos Absolute Bakery’s gingerbread house sold for $800. Moose and More made a chocolate lover’s delight, and the Ute Mountain Casino constructed an elaborate gingerbread house. The soup kitchen, started in 1998, is based at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 110 W. North St. in Cortez.
