Rex Brinkerhoff with the Cortez Police Department said a woman driving a GMC Canyon pickup was cited Wednesday around 10 a.m. for failing to yield the right of way when she attempted to turn from Alamosa Street to go northbound onto Colorado Highway 145 and struck a 79-year-old man headed southbound in a Hyundai Tucson. No one was injured in the crash. Both parties declined medical attention.
