Peanut, a Shih Tzu Maltese mix, is 3 months old and a cutie pie. He loves attention and wants to be the only dog; he tends to get jealous when there are other dogs around. Small children would have to be careful when handling him, because he is afraid of quick movements. The Cortez Animal Shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed every other Friday.
