Representatives from area schools will be present
An open house today at Towaoc Veterans Park will help Towaoc students register for classes from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Students who will be attending school in Towaoc or Montezuma County schools are invited to attend with parents or guardians. Staff will be present to answer questions, register students and review any requested or completed change regarding student registration.
The schools are Montezuma-Cortez High School, Montezuma-Cortez Middle School, Kwiyagat Community Academy, Beech Street Preschool, Mesa and Kemper elementaries, Southwest Open School and GOAL Academy High School.
The event is being put on by the schools, San Juan BOCES, Ute Mountain Child Development Center, Ute Mountain Learning Center and Southwest Medical Group.
