Mountain Range Fitness is promoting their Built for Life program as a way to help combat and prevent metabolic disease.

Mountain Range Fitness coach Erin Kuhlman told The Journal that getting proper exercise and nutrition is vital, as rates of metabolic disease continue to rise in the U.S.

“We’re talking about obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular and neurological disorders … a lot of these things are preventable through lifestyle and nutrition,” Kuhlman said.

The Built for Life Program was created to help busy people prioritize exercise and nutrition.

Working out and eating healthier isn’t just for people trying to lose weight, Kuhlman shared, but for people who want to improve their quality of life.

The program is fashioned around each person and while the program generally lasts around 12 weeks, the length is based on the individual.

In the past year, the gym has seen 40 participants in this program.

Those who are interested in learning more about the program or who wish to sign up can contact Kuhlman at ekuhlman@mrfnutrition.com.
