More trust lost in canceling Dilbert

Even though trust in journalism has dropped to an all-time low, The Durango Herald keeps doubling down. The canceling/suppression of Scott Adams of Dilbert fame (and probably the last vestige of a right-leaning view in the Herald) goes along with comforting support for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Critical Race Theory (which comes from Marxist “critical theory” of oppression), sexualizing the curricula of grade schools, one-sided articles about “climate change,” and the suppression of almost all stories that go against the Democrat narrative.

That’s fine: The First Amendment protects free speech in the U.S., so if a printing outlet chooses to be a leftist propaganda outlet, it is okay to do so. What the Herald needs to do, though, is remove any reference to the Constitution’s discussion of the Free Press, which gets all the objective facts out to the public.

You can’t be a shill for the far left and be part of the free press of objective news fame.
