The congresswoman from Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District achieved exactly what she wanted to achieve over the last few weeks. People are talking about her and her name is in the paper. Her only play, and that of the other members of the “crazy caucus,” is notoriety. The more outrageous behavior, the better.
When the members of the crazy caucus sponsor legislation that is sound policy, improve American lives or advance worthy causes, then associate their names with those stories. When they behave badly, stop using their names! Instead, refer to them as the congressman or congresswoman from X congressional district, reminding the citizens of those districts of the quality of the people who represent them.
