Janie Alvarez Rosamond, who lives on County Road 38 along the West Fork of the Dolores River, captured a rare photograph of a moose in the river on Saturday afternoon.
“I first saw him outside our front window, then followed him down to our neighbors, Steve and Nancy Bollinger,” Rosamond said, and photographed the moose from their deck.
