Montezuma County to host human trafficking training

Montezuma County will host a training on the impact of human trafficking on Sept. 24.

The Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking and Montezuma County will host a training on the local impact of human trafficking from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Montezuma County Administration Building room 250, 109 W. Main St.

The training will discuss how human trafficking is impacting the state and region. Learn how service providers and community members can be involved in the response. Attendees will learn what human trafficking is, its impact in local communities, how to report/respond to human trafficking and anti-trafficking efforts in Colorado.

Community members, law enforcement, healthcare providers and service providers are invited to attend. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
