The Montezuma County Fairgrounds Main Barn was buzzing with activity Wednesday morning.
Vendors set up their booths for a busy day of fair festivities. Children played in the dirt in true Montezuma County fashion. Families filed into bleachers surrounding a pen, where 4-H exhibitors of all ages showcased their sheep.
Madi Shults of Meeker judged the event, naming grand champions and reserve champions in a series of categories. She gave each exhibitor friendly advice about their animals while also complimenting things each participant did well.
