Montezuma County Democrats plan open house

The Journal

The Montezuma County Democratic Party invites the public to an open house for 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16 at its headquarters in downtown Cortez.

The headquarters is at 100 E. Main next to the former Antonio’s restaurant building at the corner of N. Beech St.

In addition to information and discussion about state and national candidates and ballot issues, attendees can register to vote and can learn more about the Colorado Care health insurance initiative. Volunteers are being sought to help staff headquarters until election day.

Music and light refreshments will be provided.
