Voters in southwest district have other options

On Tuesday, Montezuma County Clerk and Recorder Kim Percell gave an update on the replacement ballots being sent out for Precinct D.

“It is my understanding that the replacement ballots have been hitting mailboxes in Towaoc the last couple days,” Percell said in an email. The district is southwest of the city of Cortez, and straddles U.S. Highway 160/491.

Those who haven’t received their ballot may visit any of the county’s polling centers to obtain a replacement ballot or to vote in person.

Right now, the Annex Polling Center is open. Towaoc’s will be open Monday, Nov. 4 and Tuesday, Nov. 5. All others will open on Election Day.

ADA accessible voting machines will be available at each location as well.
