The toolkit helps explain how to comply with state guidelines and keep customers and staff safe, said Dolores Chamber director Susan Lisak. It’s free.
The toolkit includes printable posters to inform customers of the rules, a sample reopening plan and state guidelines. There is a place to submit questions as well.
Guidance is provided for retail, personal, office and real estate businesses, with links to public health guidelines, a business survey and Department of Labor information.
The toolkit was created by the Montezuma Business Task Force and Dolores, Mancos and Cortez chambers.
“Reopening must be balanced with careful planning and diligent follow through to help protect those that depend on you for employment and those that rely on your goods and services,” states the cover letter. “Remember, we only have one shot at opening the right way, and each business could have a profound affect on whether everyone gets shut down again.”
