Modern Day Health Care, a virtual clinic, expands to Colorado

The Journal

Modern Day Health Care, a virtual clinic, has expanded to Colorado with the addition of Sandra Summers.

MDHC is a nurse-owned and operated practice that works to close the gap in the rural health care with telemedicine to offer acute and primary care services.

Certified as a family nurse practitioner, Summers coordinates multiple medical services to ensure high-level quality care, diagnoses and treats diverse conditions, drives disease and illness prevention, and educates patients and family members to ensure optimal ongoing care.

MDHC’s telemedicine allows patients to establish a continuing relationship with a health care provider without leaving home, eliminates exposure to illnesses in clinics and waiting rooms, and eliminates the need to take away time from work or other activities to attend a clinic visit.

MDHC currently accepts most insurances including Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash-payment options. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit www.ModernDayHealthCare.com or call (605) 250-1200.
